Gerry McAlinden

Since 2021, Mr. Gerry McAlinden is a member of our International Advisory Board. Mr. McAlinden has 30 years’ experience in senior expert, team leader, and director positions. Highly experienced public policy adviser and consultant establishing structures and capacities for effective development, implementation, and coordination of government policy and programs relating to EU accession. Mr. McAlinden has been working across the Eastern Europe region since 1997 and on EU harmonization issues for 30 years. A former UK civil servant, EU desk officer, and CEO of the Northern Ireland Office in Brussels, Gerry has long experience developing effective working relationships with national governments, IFIs, multilateral organisations and other donors and representing UK government interests.
