Donor: British Embassy in Tbilisi

Duration: October 2023 - January 2024

The project -  "NATO-Georgia Youth Academy" is implemented by the Georgian Center for  Strategy and Development (GCSD) with the support of the British Embassy in Tbilisi. The goal of the project is to introduce students living in the regions of Georgia to various important topics related to North Atlantic Treaty Organization and to facilitate discussion on them.

Within the framework of the project, two-day lectures/seminars will be held for students in four cities of Georgia - Zugdidi, Batumi, Akhaltsikhe and Telavi, in close cooperation with universities. At the final stage of the project, a two-day concluding event - the NATO Academy - will be organized in Tbilisi for the best students identified. Participants will meet with experts in the field, hear additional lectures on NATO and security issues, and engage in a simulation exercise. As a result, they will learn more about NATO and current security challenges, as well as develop practical skills in leadership, negotiation, communication and other areas.

The project will last for 4 months and will end in January 2024.
